报告题目：The curl-Sobolev inequality

报告摘要：We will talk about our recent work, a resolution of a longstanding problem on the sharp curl-Sobolev inequality for differential forms on the round sphere.We then present its geometric and variational applications that settle several open problems and conjectures in geometry and mathematical physics. This is a joint work with Mingwei Zhang。

报告人简介：王国芳，德国弗莱堡大学教授（Univ. of Freiburg），国际著名几何分析与偏微分方程专家。1984年本科毕业于浙江大学数学系，1990年在中科院数学所获博士学位，曾经在德国Bochum大学、马普应用数学所工作，2009年起任德国弗莱堡大学教授（德国Univ. of Freiburg）。研究方向为几何分析与偏微分方程，在调和映照、极小曲面、Toda系统、k-Yamabe方程、Sasaki-Einstein度量与几何不等式等方面取得了一系列重要研究成果‌‌，在国际一流顶级数学期刊Duke、CPAM、JDG、JEMS、CMP等发表论文100余篇。王国芳教授非常关心国内数学的发展，经常回国交流、传帮带国内的许多年轻数学人才。
