摘要:

In thistalk, we consider the supersonic flow turning a sharp corner for 2D steady isentropic Euler equations with the van der Waals gas.For an ideal flow, Courant and Friedrichs [Supersonic Flow and Shock Waves,Interscience Publishers, New York, (1948)] indicated that``supersonic flow around a bend or a sharp corner, one of the most important elementary flows, is effected by a simple wave."However, for van der Waals gas, due to its unique properties, we find by the method of convex hull that in addition to simple wave and composite waves, various forms of negative shock waves appear in the flow, including nonsonic expansion shock, double sonic shock, upstream sonic shock, and downstream sonic shock.All the negative shock waves are non-contact discontinuity shock waves. We analyze carefully the structures of solutions containing various negative shock waves and show that they are admissible.(Joint work with Prof. Yanbo Hu from Zhejiang University of Science and Technology and Dr. Kefeng Wang form Xinjiang University).

报告人简介:

郭俐辉,博士,新疆大学教授,博士生导师,美国《数学评论》评论员。主要从事非线性守恒律方程组的理论研究。先后主持国家自然科学基金3项。在JDE, ZAMP, JMP等期刊杂志上发表多篇SCI论文。
